He took up executive development courses from the Asian Institute of Management, Asian Productivity Organization, Center for Creative Leadership, Columbia University, and Michigan State University. He is a USAID and World Bank-IFC accredited consultant.
Norman is an Industrial Engineering graduate of the University of Santo Tomas and has master’s units in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines. He is past President and Executive Director of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines. He is also a Founding Trustee and VP of Value Chain of the Asia Council for Small Business PH Chapter. He was a former Chair of the Business Administration Program of Thames International Business School where he led the faculty team online.
His corporate experience spanned 31 years. His many other hats include being a business school lecturer, Go Negosyo mentor and coach, and an on-demand B+SCM coach.

Program Overview
A project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service, or result. In the office, the employees work on projects and must therefore have the basic knowledge and skills to ensure project success.
The quality of the management of the project determines its success.
Goal
This course equips the participants with the knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to manage project activities to meet project requirements. Project management refers to guiding the project work to deliver the intended outcomes.
Objectives
At the end of this 1-day course, the participant can describe what project management is, the different types of project management methodologies, the 5 stages of project management, and use the popular project management tools: Gantt Chart, Program Evaluation & Review Technique (PERT) / Critical Path Method (CPM) and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

Methodology
The course can be delivered face to face or online, via lectures and videos. Participants are to do exercises to apply knowledge.
For the face-to-face session, the company will provide the following:
1. Session venue, LCD projector, projection screen, and sound system
2. Pen and paper, for self-assessments and quizzes, for the participants
3. Manila paper and pentel pens
